Tutorial: 1st Tutorial in Room 510 and at teacher availability

This two-quarter course offers an exciting investigation into the elements of design and how they apply to art creation, art history and theory. Students will explore multiple art medias in the application of projects, exercises and studies of artists that came before them. Art lectures will be provided. Students will learn to plan, propose, produce and critique artwork from stills, models, and from their imagination. This course meets the GUHSD graduation requirements for Fine Arts and meets the UC/CSU Fine Arts �F� requirement.

I am excited about this new year. I look forward to working with my students and hope to inspire and be inspired together in this exploration of the world of making and learning about art.

Supplies List

There are a few supplies that students should have by Monday.
*Sketchbook - 100 page Spiral Bound
*#2 Pencils
*Color Pencil (minimum of 12 colors)
*Eraser
*Pencil Sharpener
If this is a financial burden other arrangements can be made - please see the instructor

Small Still Life Compositions

Students need to bring 10-12 small objects that can be glued on to a 6"x5" foam core board. They will be drawing from this board to create their Value Project. Due ASAP
